So people wanted the TRD but now that its announced they think its too expensive? As someone who has priced up all those TRD extras I'm not the least bit surprised at the price.

i think some people where expecting some more ponies from a TRD spec, a la STI style to justify the cost, not just some bolt on parts, i too did a shopping list of TRD parts and the total was a heart break moment, but have sampled a lot of TRD quality in the past i'd do it if the wife doesn't find out first,

It shouldn't be a surprise. The TRD car in BMTV had no extra power and really wasn't that much quicker than a stock 86 with Neova AD08 tyres. I think if the HKS car wasn't automatic it would've been faster than both.
