Isn't it too early for all these special editions?
The first year model just arrived on the market..

CBR600RR 07-20-2012 09:14 AM

so another $25,000 for what???

Brake package
Wheels and rubber
body kit
exhaust
likely a couple doodads on the interior

I'd rather spend the other $25k to put the upgrades of my choice on myself. (and get way more for the money)

Supposedly the brake kit is like $11,000 alone. I think if you bought all those parts individually it might cost the same or more. It's a limited run of 20 cars so I'm not really shocked by the price tag. You wouldn't see me buying one, though, as sweeeeeet as it looks!!

It's nice and all but WAY too pricey!

Khyron686 07-20-2012 12:54 PM

Those look like painted Scion headlights (no led)? :iono:

ft86-UAE 07-20-2012 01:32 PM

too expensive to me

#87 07-20-2012 01:34 PM

Yea, that kind of rich.

Too much money... The regular FR-S at just under $25k is a no brainer for the sports car you already get.

My opinion.

They don't have an FRS in NZ and there 86 is more then 25k. I think if a NZ buyer would to buy the parts separately then it would end up costing a lot more

Whoops, I see... Then I suppose it could be worth it from that perspective...

Hm... not sure it's cheap or not. Any NZ here that can compare that price tag w other cars?

Yea, I remember seeing one of the vendors selling the brake kit and it was a little over $11,000 (he even mentioned it wasn't a typo).

You're $4k away from a '13 GT500...
