UK order books open tomorrow, Friday the 13th.. what to do?? Covid-19 may delay placing orders?? If I place an order tomorrow and die due to the virus then what???

I noticed that the 'red' car has the polymer composite carbon roof as per the white car in the Toyota promo vids and the 'black' car has a carbon weave roof.. Can this be an option item?

Also, I was surprised to see a Twin convertible making an appearance in the 'black' car video..

Hi guys. I'm pretty excited for this car too and there are even already some some slightly modified racing versions out there. Here are a few pics and a video of one of those in action

And this is basically a preview of a prototype and these guys really got to push the car and do all kinds of moves with it. Some of which you probably shouldn't do on public roads. At least not as long as your are not alone on them

Keep in mind though that it is in German.

Yesterday I called the dealership who look after my BRZ, they are saying deliveries are due January 2021. A deposit will secure a build slot. They couldn't tell me how many are coming to the UK. The sales person was saying that it depends on the number of orders..

So I just reserved one online for myself. Don't know if that offer is Germany exclusive or not but they offer a special Leasing deal until 30.06. 344€ for the High Performance Version in a 4 Year lease. The base version costs 298€. No down payment.
They also go down 5K from the list price making it 28K for the base and 32K for the High Performance version.

That looks a like a good deal to me and way better than I expected. I feared I might have to wait for used ones to hit the market but now it looks like I don't have to. Still have to get things sorted with the dealer though since I was a bit too fast in making a buying decision and have to get that reverted if I wan to take that offer.

I would happily get one of these in a two door with all the rally fixings. In fact, it's the only ICE car currently coming that I find truly exciting. I'd take this over a C8 Vette. Too bad it isn't coming to the US.

I feel the same way. It's the most interesting car out there right now that would make me trade up. It really is a damn shame it's not coming to the US.

I was bored, phoned Toyota Australia for any info about the GR4. The person I spoke didn't know anything about it, I was put on hold while she asked else where. When she returned I was told the car was a hybrid and was expected at the middle of this year. I replied we are talking about two different cars and the GR4 was featured at Toyota UK website. (Their blog page, not main website.)
Woman had no idea what I was talking about and Toyota Australia had no info/news to give. *sigh*

Australia is often like this when it comes to new cars.
