I have been dealing with this damn mini van for 2 weeks now. The dreaded Chrysler 3.6

Cylinder #5 missfire.

I have replaced the coil. Verified power to the coil on the harness. Verified pulse signal from the PCM to fire the coil. Checked spark with coil out. Swapped coils with known working cylinder. Swapped injectors with known working. Tested injector. Verified power to the injector on the harness. Verified pulse signal from PCM to fire the injector.

Still missfires. Comp and leakdown is next

Alright I know there are people that are way smarter then me on this, and well, in general

Each one of these heating panels is about 2100 watts and pulls 4.2-4.5amps. On leg one I am pulling about 36 amps in this zone. The manufacturer says it should be 55-60. I don’t see how the heck that’s possible.

He also says if I loose some panels it will put more load on the others. But from my understanding the panel can only draw what it can draw regardless of what the other panels are doing.

Am I crazy here?

Just pull off the spark plug wires one at a time till you find the one that doesn't change the idle speed. Replace that plug with one of the better looking plugs from the bag in the trunk. Yep, a 1/2 beer job.

Thing is I did bring the car into a local shop a couple months back and asked them to check the spark plugs and stuff, and according to them the plugs were fine.

So unless they’re clueless, which I don’t believe is the case, then it’s gotta be something else.

I see series-parallel config for the heating elements. If one of those elements opens, the resistance of that bank would approximately double. Can you disconnect just downstream of the line filter and test there?

The butts are coils for the control relays.
The stones have their connections not shown so could do anything.
The pink heaters are two in series but have no values so V=IR needs one more value to be calculated.
