I already purchased my k24 and soon my s2000 Transmission.
Removing turbo and engine in Fen or March and excited for this. Will have a bunch of pic soon. Will work on buying motor mounts, oil pan from Pure Motorsports. |

Shifters are getting close also, still tweaking some design stuff but they are essentially figured out

Does the use of the steel pan change the positioning of the engine in the bay compared to when the aluminum pan was originally being considered?

Good question, but I doubt it, or they would likely have to change the engine mounts and the headers they have already designed/sold, yet it is possible.

Yeah, I was assuming the same, but it's worth asking at any rate.

No, it was literally a matter of cost. The shape was/is identical. I started to do aluminum and the end result was going to be something that costs $800+ with a baffle, and would require different mounting hardware than what comes with the stock K24, and they take 3x as long to make etc. With the steel pans, we can pump them out quicker and the end result is going to be a sub $600 pan and baffle combo that accomplishes the same thing. I'll be the first to admit, they're nothing fancy, but the whole point of this swap since day 1 has been to make it "cheaper than 2J and LS".

That is the right answer. I could care less that the pan looks like...as long as it holds oil and doesn't look like someone made it with a lump mallet.. Function first.

I just composed a list of all the parts we sell and a couple we don't sell yet, all of which I think are "essential" to a true bolt in K24 Swap. Every single part on the list is something that you can put together and install in the car without any cutting, beating, welding, or fabrication of any kinda. I may have missed a couple small things but this is like 95%. This is not an official quote or anything, totally just for those of you who may not know what all goes into a swap. As I said before we don't sell everything on this list (yet) but we do sell the majority of it on swapyour86.com
Mount Kit $499.95 Oil Pan / Baffle $575.00 Type S Oil Pump and Parts $350.00 Intake Manifold $799.99 Throttle Adapter $72.99 Throttle Body $379.99 Fuel Rail $179.95 Injector/Sensor Bundle $1,299.00 S2K Shifter $589.95 Trans Adapter Plate $349.95 Adapter Flywheel $529.95 Clutch Kit $725.00 Motec Kit $5,595.00 Header $1,695.00 JDM K24 $750.00 S2000 Trans $750.00 Fuel Fittings $200.00 CoolantAdapters $275.00 Driveshaft $900.00 Water Pump Kit $699.00 B Series Alternator $150.00 Custom radiator hoses $150.00 Total $17,515.72 IN PARTS Sounds like a lot when you put it all together, but this list is enough for a 100% bolt in and started up NA car that makes north of 230whp and loses 100 lbs over stock. If anyone wants to ship me a their car, email me, we will be doing turn key swaps for these effective immediately! |

As with all of our swaps, factory heat and AC will work. It requires making 2 heater lines to connect to the factory heater core, and modifying the factory AC lines to connect to an AC compressor. With the setup I explained above, it deletes the AC compressor. All you would need to do is figure out an accessory belt routing to include an AC compressor. We chose not to do that for this initial setup because getting the main components is more important than AC for now.

Important info for those concerned about weight and balance!
Stock BRZ manual curb weight is posted as 2798. We ended up at 2615! Not bad! |

Love everything about it, except the sound. Worth it for the lower weight, better power, and better reliability though!
