Already done 2600km.
Chirping seems to be normal on boxers, my mates 2007 wrx seems does it as well and he has 95000km My previous 2011 vw made chirping sounds cos it was water cooled, that's what a mate and the mechanic both told me.
Weird idle has happened both with aircon on and off. Had this issue before due to the vacuum line on the intake and also when I disconnected and reconnected the battery and the ecu had to relearn the data on previous car
Now it appears the ecu has learned data values and the idle has calmed down a bit and drops slightly every few minutes or so when sitting in traffic.

Condensation issue appears more so, after its first wash the water collected in both tail lights and slowly trickled out.. dealers are aware apparently and have a fix for it.

So I'm not really concerned about them as I think I was just being an overworried parent of my baby..

USA measure their octane rating different to the way we do. We just use the RON number. US use the anti-knock number (RON+MON)/2.

Theirs is a better representation of fuel quality, but as you know, it doesn't really matter......

Aussie 95 = US ~91
Aussie 98 = US ~93
