Interior Acessories?
Hello all,
Just wanted to ask for a few opinions and feedbacks. - the most popular interior accessories for this car? I'm guessing it is phone holders? - Are there any interior accessories/gadgets (or categories of them) that this car needs or needs to have a better selection of? - What is your favorite? What I mean by accessories/gadgets is anything you put inside the car that improves the quality of life for you including its aesthetics, and functionality. Stuff like phone holders, air fresheners, floor mats, shift knobs, to like trim pieces, race seats and headunits just as examples. All inclusive as long as it is interior related. Would like to know what you guys think. Just a curiosity topic. Thank you very much! |

![]() That may depend upon the year of the car. For my 2013 FR-S the first thing I put in was an arm rest for my right arm. The second thing was an aftermarket radio head unit, so I could have GPS and SiriusXM. That's it. ![]() humfrz |

My favorite "air freshener" are those hanging moisture absorber bags / odor eliminators, the unscented kind. Keeps the inside of the car feeling nice and dry when you get in, keeps windows from fogging while sitting. They collect a lot of water after a couple weeks in humid weather.

My interior accessories:
Items I have on hand but haven't yet deployed:
Additionally, my phone is an automotive/travel accessory itself with the following apps:
I installed Gas Buddy during the hurricane evacuation to find stations along the route that still had fuel, but I deleted it shortly after the crisis was over because it kept forcing popup notifications even after I blocked it. That spyware crap probably still has something running on my phone. I'm probably forgetting something. I'll add it later if I think of anything. |

If you don't have an armrest, get that first. Next thing I got was these rubber mats, the weathertech ones are just too big and too much rubber for Ca. These basic rubber mats are cheaper and they hold up much better than the oem cloth crap mats the car came with. I started wearing through my cloth mats near the throttle within 6 months, those rubber ones have held up since 2014.
Oh I also got this little plastic insert with the 86 logo to go in that strange vacant emblem spot below the shifter. It looks totally OEM if you ask me which is what I gravitate towards. |
