Wiring interior L.E.Ds to come on with the interior lights/headlights

Hey guys, I am sure it has been mentioned before several times, but I have doing tons of research on the forum and even googled it, but I just seem to be over looking it or I just can't find a clear answer, I want to know if its possible or what is the easiest way to hook up some red l.e.ds inside the interior of the car, where they come on at night or when the dash lights come on? If not then I will go with a toggle switch but would to do it where they automatically come on. Any info would be awesome

You need a power relay circuit. You could use a potentiometer to dim them to a nice mood level.

You can just pull power from the illumination circuit going to the four-way flasher button. The leds will then dim with the illumination dial on the stalk. Unless you are running a lot of them you will not need a relay, small leds pull a very small amount of current.
