Clutch/misfire issues need help.
Hey guys been having trouble with my car and could really use some help on this one...
I started experiencing problems about 5,000 miles after I bought and installed an ACT clutch and lightweight flywheel. It would have problems getting into gear from a stop. Continuing to drive the car it kept getting harder and harder to get into gear from a stop and now at this point the only was I have found to get it to go into gear is holding the clutch down for about 5-6 seconds then it will slid into gear fine. I only have this issue when the car is hot, while it is cold it seems to be functioning fine. I have bleed the clutch multiple time and replaced the slave cylinder which all seemed to help for a couple days then would go back to the same issue. I took the transmission back off and decided to take a look at the clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel and all seem to look fine. And now for the interesting bit... I decided to install the stock flywheel/clutch back into the car (originally when I removes it my throw out bearing was really bad and it had trouble getting into gear if this might of messed with the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel I’m not sure) and now the engine misfires pretty bad and stalls unless I rev it at idle. It’s also throwing codes P0011 and P0021 which has to do with a timing issue? Very confused by this and could use some help, thanks in advance! |

You either bent reluctor ring or got it on there wrong.. It would definitely explain the timing issues and misfiring!
