Not sure how I missed this before, but I've had a Voodoo shift knob on my Miata for several years and really like it. I'll have to add this to the future parts list for my BRZ.

Just received the aluminum satin pearl finish voodoo knob from Tom Thompson Automotive Products for the BRZ/FRS. Beautiful finish. It does look almost like a big pearl! When the light hits it and you view it from above it almost looks like a big piece of glass! It sorta glows in the right light. Can't wait to get my car so I can put this to good use!!!! Very pleased and you can't beat the price on this quality piece for sure. Ordered this Sat. afternoon and in my mailbox on Monday! Wow. Thanks for the fast USPS priority shipping, Tom! Mine arrived today. It's gorgeous: looks great, feels great, beautifully made, and beautifully finished. And a great value. Top-notch product. I had a VooDoo knob for my Miata previously, but in a textured black, and this one is like a luscious, slick, pearlescent, work of art. Check it out:
  Pictures don't do it justice, it looks in these pics kind of like plain spun aluminum, but there is more depth, luster, and shimmer to the finish than can be captured. It's just really, really nice. Oh -- and amazing service, considering I ordered it on Saturday afternoon and it was in my mailbox on Monday at noon! Nice job Thompson, and nice job USPS!
