bump - anyone else using these? How have they held up?
how long do the rod ends / sphericals last, or how often do they need to be replaced? |

Have had these on my car for about 3 weeks now, along with rest of the kit from SPL. Thanks to these I was able to eliminate my cross caster in the front and run more positive caster allowing me to reduce static camber and still get fantastic driving feel. With all solid suspension everything just feels more direct and immediate, no waiting on weight transfer. I’m loving my car right now.

Lower (unsprung) weight, greater strength, what's not to like (except for the price tag)?
I hate it when lower weight is quoted, without disclosing how much weight was lost. Surely the vendor must have done the comparison, but just won't say it. Perhaps the weight loss was too little to quote? Higher strength? Sure, by how much. Again, the vendor must know this, but just won't say it. Is it because the increase in strength is too little to mention? |

There are a few pieces that were weighed here. No FLCA
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=297 I did weigh my SPL RLCA and it was less than OE but not by a lot. I have the number at work. |

You're not going to get bushing deflection which will improve the turn in feel in my experience. Also they provide camber, caster, and bump steer adjustments which can let you optimize your setup for even more grip.

For those still interested in weight - the SPL arms and hardware weigh in at 2540 grams per arm. My OEM arms, with whiteline subframe bushing, ball joint, and anti dive, caster bushing weighed 2727 grams. So with both of them, that's a savings of ~375 grams - about .8 lbs. Nothing major - but not necessarily the main reason for installing these.

Am I reading something wrong, or does this mean a weight gain? OEM - 2540 grams each - 5080 grams total SPL - 2727 grams each - 5454 grams total - 374 g more than stock?
