Don't get me wrong, they've gotten better. It's just that when they screw up (I don't see it often, but maybe I'm blind), it's very annoying how they go about the situation. I can't leave anyways, i hang out on #oppositelock too much.

I either need to unsubscribe from this thread RIGHT NOW or start preparing my list of supporting mods. And I personally don't want to dip into upgrading internals.

Now I need to take out a home equity loan to buy my turbo, suspension, rims, and tires.
First I need to buy a house, though. Edit: will this kit fit the BRZ? Different nose, HID ballasts, etc.

Yeah I was going to go with the thicker head gasket regardless, I'm pretty sure. Anything that helps is good. I'm trying to avoid pistons.

I don't believe we'll be upgrading internals at 8psi. The boost doesn't mean much against cyl pressure. I'm more concerned about making to much power and to much cylinder pressure.
Remember this is STG 1, Basic kit, or whatever you want to call it. I'm sure at some point here not in the far future i'll have very advanced HP setups. I do have Pistons and Rods currently in the works. Manley approached me yesterday to do their R&D testing for them, so we will be considering that as well. Theres no doubt I'll have bulletproof engine setups here. I am first and foremost an engine builder before all the other things we do! |

Little Article grabbed from Jalopnik. I've never heard of them, but I guess there are a little off on the truth, but O well. Its an editorial, since when does the news report Truth!

I think the sweet spot will be 235-240whp. That should equate to around 280 at the crank, putting the car at a nice round 10:1 lb/hp ratio.

this article is the prime example why you gotta do research before you consider instead of believe the first article you find. these guys clearly didnt read anything related to this build and disgusts me reading what they wrote in that article....SMH |
