Homeless do cause fires, but more than anything, western fires are a result of global warming. There's also people like me living in forested areas, getting what we deserve. We're not causing the fires, though. Just suffering from them.

Most of the townships around here were delayed until Saturday due to the storm that didn't happen. Except where I live. Which I didn't realize until I got home from work at about 6:30 and had to wait for a path to clear across the street to get to my driveway.

It is crazy windy, but perfectly dry. I have no doubt that some kids will be making the rounds again on Saturday trying to get more candy. After tonight I'm just going to leave my porch light off for the next week to be safe.

Also, what's up with inflatable T-Rexes this year? We've had 3. It was entertaining watching them flip about with the wind lol.

lol, no t-rexes, but there was one kid dressed as a pumpkin that started to lose his footing when the wind picked up and the costume more or less became a sail. Thankfully his father was holding his arm, and hopefully no one saw me laugh...

I actually got into a stupid argument with my wife because she set up our inflatable illuminated arch-shaped Frankenstein head next to our doorway instead of in front of it. Something about the potted plants.

No shit. That's why I put them next to each other. I mentioned they're optimists and said they fucked everything up.
