Sounds bell housing to me. You can use a long screwdriver or a broom handle as a stethoscope. Blunt end to your ear and watch rotating parts. You are going to have to isolate it to figure it out.

I know for a fact that the frs has a very loud high pressure fuel pump
it sits under the driver side engine head cover for the driver side fuel injectors. Especially if you are running E85 its extremely loud |
