A little bit late but I still use and buy CDs lol I don’t have a whole collection or anything, but if one of my favorite bands drops an album, I’ll most likely buy a copy and a shirt. Especially since I go to a lot of shows, Ill buy them there and they’ll most likely sign them too so it’s pretty cool. I do it also to support their work.

I think Tom Sawyer is a great song. I've never heard another Rush song I like. Spirit of Radio is tolerable, but that's about it. They're clearly talented musicians, especially the drummer, but their music is just so milquetoast.

It's not a Canadian dis either, though I'd like to make one. Plenty of amazing bands there. In the late 90s, I once fixed the Mac of a member of The Tragically Hip, at least that's the band I think he was in. Kind of a memorable band name. He said the name like it was important, and I was like, "Who? That's nice." I'd never heard of them.

Their later stuff in milquetoast yes. The early stuff was not. Like Styx, Supertramp, Pink Floyd and even Alice Cooper they went to shit in the eighties.

Maybe we should have a separate section on Canadian music or Celebrities We've Met, eh? Anyway, this tune is on Max Webster's album "Universal Juveniles" but it features all three members of Rush. I think it was more a Rush tune as it has that Rush sound and is so different from most of Max Webster's or Kim Mitchell's other songs.

Growing up the old guy living across the street would come out everyday and feed the local wildlife. Squirrels at his feet, chipmunks running in circles, birds on his hat... he looked like the animal whisperer. He just stayed still in his chair with food all around him and they all came over to him. Some of the smaller birds would even eat right out of his hands, crazy.
