They didn't have tests done that say all is fine.

Your tests are fine. You have over 5,000 miles since the work was done. Relax!

The issue that blew out engines were not things in the oil, they were insolubles that clogged passages for that very reason.
He's also curious as to why when you're being told test results, you don't believe the report. Don't ask for help if you don't want it

Not believing and getting 2nd opinions are two different things. This is all i'm doing. There are very knowledgable people on this board I appreciate and trust. All I did was share this information and with you to verify. Thanks

My comment is that you have a valid test result from a respected company that says "No problem". Looking for support or rejection of that report from a bunch of guys with dubious qualifications is not going to help anything.. My suggestion is to take that good report, relax and enjoy your car. The oil looks good, you have 5K trouble free miles and no issues. Fretting and second guessing some slightly elevated silicon results isn't going to get you anyplace.

I too had high silicon (94) and Iron (24), and I was also told this was normal. Silicon in the oil isn't what causes problems post recall. Chunks of silicon breaking off causes the failure. Silicon trace in the oil is from offgassing, which will occur any time new silicon is used. I think we're gonna be ok man. https://imgur.com/a/EveNAmj |

They did recommend, however, I should do another one to check for bearing wear, which may be a sign of trouble. |
