Well, this happened about 2 weeks ago. Came over an overpass and *bam* right into a truck. I went under them so they bounced up/down instead of front and back. I didn't feel a thing. Guess there are no parts in the US yet, so 30-45 days for those to get here and 2-3 weeks of work. At least it'll be here in time for the 2nd NorCal meet. I'll just be stockpiling parts until then.

Beyond what is visible, the intake, AC compressor, and radiator were all damaged as well. Went to get something out of it today and noticed they took all the belts off so gonna have to ask about those next time I talk to them.

Man that sucks. Hopefully you do get it back in time for the NorCal meet so we can go together.

Yeah. I should have it around early October. I have a bunch of stuff laying around waiting to go on the car plus a few things to order. Gonna get it on even if it takes an all nighter right before. Haha. Lookin forward to rolling out with 3 of us this time instead of just 2 (we will meet sdlynx in Tracy).

Crap, Finch! When you told me you hit a car, I didn't think you had almost gone UNDER the car. I'm really glad you're okay. That could've been much worse.

Let me know if you need an extra hand getting your car back in shape after she comes back home.

Yeah. The guy in the truck said it felt like he went 4wheeling cuz he bounced up instead of front/back. Hopefully I get my car back in time to add the parts before the meet. But I'll let you know cuz I'm gonna have a few additions to its always more fun with more people.

Got good news today. All the parts are in except the seatbelts. I'll have the car back in about 3 weeks! Driving is so boring without it. Have to drive my commute through Livermore backroads in my aunts Mini with bald tires....
