Right? I don't know what's gotten into Calty Design Research with the absurd grilles, fake vents, out sized spoilers and diffusers on overweight grocery getters. Time for Kevin Hunter to retire.

LC has so many other strengths that the grill has a certain charm knowing that it's more designed for cars and coffee than track days. It's one of those that looks far better live than any online pics because it's so low that you have an elevated street view that looks beautiful. And did I mention the taillights?

The LC designer said he was influenced by certain plants. I was thinking fish.

I REALLY like the Lexus. It just doesn't have the driving fun. A bit of a big. More of an old man's car.

It's also not classically beautiful, which is neither good nor bad. Just different. The Jaguar is easier on the eyes. The Lexus is more challenging to appreciate. Many will hate it.

But I wouldn't throw it out of my garage.

Nobody will be challenging an LC driver to a road race, not that the driver would notice, it's all about voluptuous style and comfort. Big girls are getting more attention now. It would be a sublime long distance tourer. The driver wouldn't need care about where the nearest dealer is.

No doubt the timelessly beautiful more exciting and slender Jag, when running properly (former Jag owner here), could carry the day both on track and as a weekend tourer. I'd have my AAA card along, though.

I feel like the C8 is going to be a more exciting car than a Cayman GTS or F type. If you like the styling, I think it compares pretty favorably to the rest of the things on the list.

I suggest you get a new Miata RF and invest the other $45,000.

Lexus dealers are fantastic, but you barely go there, so what's the point?

It's like Las Vegas, you gotta go there every so often to see the show.

Unlike Vegas I don't drop cash there, it's for warranty work only.
