you did a great job. I'd love to take the time to do this with my Whiteout when it comes in. How hard were the lights to pry apart after baking?

Thanks. Not too tough. It takes some prying and pulling but once they start you're good to go. You can also use a heat gun which is what I did the second time and it's also how I sealed them.

First, Kevin, the headlights look awesome! Second, we are working on getting things planned to have your aero kit re-installed. We have been in-touch with the dealership to discuss how the installation was not properly executed and hope to have things moving soon. You should have also received our e-mails today on this. Thanks again for your patience.

What was the purpose of baking the lights... did you need to heat the enclosure in order to get it open? (Sorry I don't know much about headlight mods). I think the Audi-style LEDs look sick, though... can you give any insight on the strips you used? Were they top-shine or side-shine strips? My FR-S gets delivered in a few days and I'd love to do this first thing. Your work looks great... keep up the good work!

You bake to soften adhesive. I went 200 degrees for 15 minutes on a cookie sheet. You can also use a heat gun which is what I did when opening them for the second time to realign the LED's. I used the side emitting LED's from The Retrofit Source, 2 pairs and cut them down. At the bottom of page 1 you can see where I mounted them. I am probably going to redo them again to get them perfect. I think if you undermount them like I did you will need to keep them about 1/2" back from the lip for perfection. Mine get some weird reflections since the lens has a black bottom but I've nearly got it perfected for everyones reference. Someone needs to be the Guinea Pig right?
