Hey

Ordered by GTS86 a couple of weeks ago. I've never really been a car guy but there is something about this car that has actually got me excited.

I actually went out to buy a family SUV and ended up with a 2 door coupe lol

Hello Everyone, I sold my 2012 370Z for an FR-S today. I just didn't like the 370Z and it always was a compromise because I couldn't wait for the FR-S. Well now 2 months down the road I was cruising a local scion dealership's website last night and my FR-S was shown (1) in stock. When I called at 8:05am this morning the sales person told me that three salesmen already claimed the car but no financing was done up so I rushed down and started paperwork before work. As soon as I got off work I was back down at the dealer taking delivery.

I took a hit on the 370Z because Nissan still has a 0% interest sale on them and have to many sitting in stock so the trade offer was pretty low compared to what NADA was suggesting I should get. I had enough equity to cover the taxes on the FR-S and get it home without putting a down payment.

Overall I'm happy. I finally have what I wanted since the beginning. I just wish I could have waited and used all the equity in my 09 fit towards the FR-S.

Live and Learn

Hello everyone,
My name is mike. Picked up my whiteout fr-s last week from the dealership I worked at up untill the 11th of this month. It sat on the lot for about a week and a half and I couldn't stand looking at it anymore without owning it.
So my wife and I traded in our two cars for it, my 450 hp 2004 srt-4 and her 2006 charger r/t. Sounds weird going from two cars to one but I'm fixing to head to air force basic training Tuesday so we won't need two cars for the next 8 months or so.
I did pull off all the aftermarket stuff off the srt and return it pretty much to stock too so I had all my big turbo parts and what not I sold and made some cash back on the deal so that was nice.
Anyway, I won't be posting much for a while but I'm excited to come back to the forum in a few months and see everyone's progress!!! Good luck with all your builds! I expect to see some cool stuff when I get back!

My srt4

Her charger

Our new fr-s

New from South Carolina

Just picked up my White Out FR-S 6MT. It came with the Scion Trunk mat, mud guards, Tinted Windows, and the BeSpoke audio system. The color IMO is just like Cadillac's "Mother of Pearl". Beautiful in the sun. Me and the wife love it. Looking forward to chattin it up with the members.

Hey, kind of new here. the FRS is my first sports car and my dad's first since his supra (had to sell it when he moved to the U.S.). I share the car with him, my life savings went into it and my dad helped out, so I don't consider it fully my car yet lol. Love driving it, a big step up from the 98 sienna I used to drive.

So my roommate ExiledLakai told me to go on a test drive when he was looking for an FR-S. I was debating since I was waiting on a BRZ myself but I went ahead anyway to go take a look at the FR-S in detail. My Subaru salesman hadn't updated me on the current status of my deal in at least a week(Decided on buying the BRZ 3 weeks ago and wanting to put a deposit down since the vehicle was in Colorado and I live in Las Vegas. Being an employee of the same dealer network they said they would help me out). Supposedly they were waiting on a car to dealer trade but it never came in on the trucks in the last 2 weeks. I call BS(I was going to get invoice pricing on the car so I'm sure there were countless others calling on the same deal that weren't employees). Needless to say I left the Toyota/Scion dealer putting a deposit down on the car. Took it home a few nights ago and can honestly say I enjoy saving money on the Scion over the Subie and don't miss the creature comforts of the Subie much. Ultramarine FTW!
