Hi, everyone calls me Major and for the past 4 years been running in a 08 speed 3, but all it took was one drive to trade her for an HOT LAVA frs. Definitely miss the boost but love the handling. Can't wait to do some suspension and exhaust mods. A little too quite for my taste but an awesome platform to build on!

Hola. Posted in the BRZ section, but figured I'd say hey here too. Placed my down payment on my BRZ today and I'll be picking it up tomorrow! WRB premium with a few more options than I wanted...but they're hard enough to come by and I paid well under MSRP.

I also have one of the oldest member numbers/join dates here (maybe the oldest still active?). I've followed this car from it's initial rumor stage, glad to finally be a part of the forum!

The BRZ and the GT86 isn´t released here in Sweden yet. The sales starts in a couple of weeks. So i haven't been able to test drive it.
Been waiting for these cars in a couple of years now, so im very excited.

The bad thing is the pricetag. The starting price is 42k USD in Sweden .
So which one i choose depends on the discounts im able to get from Toyota or Subaru dealers.

Hey! Wsup! My names sean. Im 18 and in the Marine Corps. I've havent really thought about getting a car since i used to drive my sisters jetta everywhere, but now that im going to be stationed away from home, im going to need a way of transportation.
I honestly dont know too much about cars but all my close friends are gear heads. They try to teach me things but i still dont know much. Hopefully if I can get my fr-s in a few months, me and the guys will be able to work on it together. Can't wait.
ps: I will be pulling a loan to afford it. I'm too anxious to wait and save up money. + as military we get good rates on loans.

I was lurker here at large before finally deciding to join. Names Erik, 25yrs old, IT Industry.

Currently have a GT 86 in hot lava or velocity orange as it's called here in Australia on order, expected delivery around November - December. I'm new to the sport car scene (I currently drive a toyota landcruiser! lol) so I hope to be borrowing a lot o knowledge from your collective think tanks!
