I built two vans in the 70s. Do you know how popular you can be at party with a bunch of other 19 year olds when you have a van with a bed? I never had to even bring my own beer.

Yes, good question. I am. But, I have not yet, because I'm waiting for the swivel base that I ordered to arrive. I really felt that the passenger seat had to swivel for the best camper functionality / versatility.

Van looks great. You're really cranking on it.

Now I'm curious to know more. Talked to a couple people about how they arrived at baer or wilwood, wilwoods were generally cheaper than brembo, baers got selected more for pad availability.

One guy told me he refused to run wilwoods because they flexed too much, hadn't heard of performance issues with baers though.

Essex/AP Racing Sprint is the way to go, from all I've seen and read. Best price/performance. You can also go with something like CSG's brembo kit. But Baer? It just seems risky with poor resale.

I'm constantly looking at spoiler options, trying to find something i like as much that would be less fab work, and i just haven't found anything

Sweet!

if you do the PNW trip I recommend going straight west from Olympia and heading up the coast a bit first then shooting down. The 101 on the Oregon Coast ( biding the mist and fog) has some of the most wonderous coastal views and I loved driving it (more so than the 1, there I said it)

Especially the area between Coos Bay and Crescent City.

Back in the day I have driven the full length of the Coast from Neah Bay down to San Diego. I even got a picture at the border in California and at Cape Flattery ( goal someday is to hit the four corners of the US)

Ive been bouncing back between AP Sprint's kit and RR Racings Wilwood based kit.

Running a "brembo" seems just to be a money user and ideally the most weight loss comes from running a two piece rotor while the brake caliper itself is important for me the weight loss is most attractive (and balling colors for the caliper)
