I had an issue with if I remember correctly was cylinder 4 not firing. It ended up being the water pump power plug wasn't plugged in all the way. I had to really push hard to get it to snap in all the way. It's daisy chains/plugs into the injector power cord. I went through a ton of other stuff before realizing this and even stripped bolt hole threads where my fuel rail mounts trying to get stuff apart. Super frustrating. Fine now. I made sure to bend the plug just a little so it wouldn't come loose.
If you have the intercooled version this may be something to look into.

My installer believes that the reason for my problems is because of the manifold gasket. I am in search for some replacement manifold gaskets. Would anyone know where to get them besides contacting Sprintex?
Sizes for those gaskets are 63.17 ID x 2.62 CS |

Off. Also inspect and clean off the manifold portion make sure no visibly large scrapes/scratches that would also cause leaks if so you’ll need to dremel it down to a flat smooth surface. When installing those gasket/o-rings use grease or vaseline to keep from ruining them. |

A thorough inspection and cleaning of the surfaces and gaskets. Then double check every single hose is fully pushed on and clamped. Make sure brake booster is installed correctly (this could be the other fault code) . Go over every install step and thoroughly read and fully understand exactly what it wants you to do and why before moving onto the next step. Then reflash tune. And give it another shot. |

The guy that did the install on my kit recommended the WRX/STI PCV valve because the ones in our cars leaks boost since it wasn't meant to see FI. What do you guys think? Are you guys using any sort of PCV valve?

Don't bother. That PCV is before the boost pressure in the system so it doesn't experience any boost at all. With a turbo on centrifugal SC it's different, since it forces air through the intake system and pressurizes the PCV.

Anyone got specs on charge air with/without laminova intercooler? I'm thinking about getting one, and want to justify spending 1.5k.

Probably won't track it very often. Been boosted for like 4 years now and haven't seen a track yet. Just short sprints on my daily commuting. Unfortunately, no e85. 92 oct.

You might gain 15-20whp but it will stave off heatsoak a bit longer. Not sure it's worth it. Let others chime in.

Ahh f$%k it. Just ordered one. All of my research has led me to believe that the pros outweigh the cons.
Still though, I would be interested in anyone else's feedback.
