First impressions, the sloppiness at pickup has gone, change from 1st to 2nd tighter and the rest of the changes are more direct. The engine wobble when picking from low speeds in say 2nd instead of 1st gear has gone. The engine/transmission seems one and part of the car.. At idle there's slightly more engine vibes felt through the seat.

Dude, buy the Grom. They're fun as hell to ride, ESPECIALLY if you're used to bigger bikes. And if you aren't, they're an amazing bike to learn on.

i know they're fun. their entire concept is very similar to the 86, and that's what draws me to them. the question isn't so much how i'd use it, the fear is other drivers, and how i'd wreck it. i used to bmx/mountain bike, so i'm aware of the dangers of 2 wheels, i think i'm just getting too old for some of it.

i'd mainly end up using it to commute to work 3-1/2 miles, which is mostly narrow farm-type roads, with people ending up in the ditch at least once a month. i just don't trust the morning/evening commuters on that road enough to take myself out of the cage.

Oh, my, I hope these two guys aren't on duty when you try to cross the Idaho state line. That rig of yours, with California plates, hauling a foreign sports car is a sure red flag.

You won't be disappointed. It just feels like "sports" car ie "locked" and "tied down".. without sounding too obvious. I'm shocked at the difference. I suppose controlling all that mass will have an impact on how the car feels.

I remember reading some reviews of the "new" 991 with dynamic mounts, the reviewers were very impressed. Well the difference is "night" and "day" in my BRZeeee!

I want to drive it more!! Sounds like an effing epiphany! I need to switch my tyres next.. as I still have the OEMs...

When it comes to motorcycles I come by my love for the hobby/sport honestly. The first image shows my father with some of his friends back in the early 30's. The second, me and mine in the mid 90's.
