Jezza and the Stig reportedly review 24 performance cars in the latest issue of Top Gear:

There's a teaser video included on the page, including Clarkson sitting in and describing the drifting capabilities of the GT-86 at about 1:31.

Just saw that little while ago on the Top Gear fb page. It looks exciting! Can't wait to read what they all have to say about the GT-86/FRS/BRZ

Those lines and the positioning of the 86 in the dead center of the cover has me mildly optimistic.

Seeing some of the other cars there... I'm not expecting the GT86 to 'win'. I'm sure Clarkson will like it...but even in terms of 'soul', a few cars I spotted have it handily beat (granted, at a MUCH higher price point)

You have a valid perspective... It's nice to know that it was recognized along with such great performing cars though.

Good question. I may give the local Barnes and Noble a call prior to stopping by later this week. I assume this would be the August issue, unless they do things differently over in the UK.

Wow. That is great honor for the GT86.

Although I will keep my expectations grounded. Like it has been said already, there are many cars in that line up worthy of the top spot.
