I don't understand the situation with "nothing to do at work". I worked for other companies for over 50 years and NEVER ran out of work to do -

If fact, I mentioned to a long time co-worker of mine, that every position that I was promoted out of, they had to replace me with two people with higher degrees. He replied "yes, that's true, because you screwed up the positions so badly, it took two people to straighten them out".

I think you are on the wrong car forum for a drag racing question -

However, I would think that the OEM reservoir would be considered a coolant overflow. You may wish to contact the appropriate track management to make sure.

(just how HOT is a FA20 engine gonna get in 1/4 of a mile - )

If that's your scene, I don't think they care if you start in drag or not. Probably depends how your act goes. Also, that's a weird name for a water glass, but I'd keep one handy for when you get thirsty, or need to cool an energetic audience member down fast.

Quick update on the "new" project. (my 26 year old Chevy G20) Last night I used a grinder on any areas that were showing rust on the inside. There were rust bubbles on an area under my side window, so I took the window out to see how bad the edge was rusted. I have SikaFlex -715 I plan on using for the widow (and my Maxxair Maxxfan Deluxe - I'm only a bit worried about cutting a hole in my roof for it) and possibly some Dicor sealant tape.

After getting the rust primed and the holes in the floor patched with fiberglass sheet and resin, I'll begin the wiring process, then start insulating.

so you're not going to do any rust mitigation like POR15 or anything, just sand and paint?

you did say you had a pickup truck. from what i'm told about california, there's a shelf at home depot full of temporary help. tell them how many you need, and they jump in the back of the truck for a few dollars a day

Yes, you have to. Otherwise it can rust under the fiberglass.

Twice my car has been bumped into in the front (parking lots), and twice the only damage has been to the license plate. That tow hook mount license plate holder has really come in handy. I think it is a Perrin. It sticks out the most in the front.
