Too risk-averse for a motorcycle, but Caterham perfectly fine? We don't have statistics but I can't think having your unhelmeted head at bumper height for most modern "cars" (i.e. trucks/SUVs) who are barely more likely to see you than a bike would be safe enough for ya!

I mean sure if I had FU money I would buy crazy cars or just rent them. Thing is to get to the FU money status you have to get to the point where your passive income is snowballing from reinvesting your investment income. And trust me I am working towards that but dropping $300k on a car is not something you do until you can't spend your money fast enough.
