If I have my dog with me and i have to get out, I park next to grassy area (if i can) and tie her to the hand brake with a 20ft of 550 cord. I usually keep a frisbee in the car an pour some water in it. She hangs out next to the car, has water and I can lock the doors.

I'm all for the pets and taking care of them but this 'issue' has brought out some seriously self-rightous people.

I was sitting in my car while the GF ran inside a CVS to grab some stuff. In the adjacent parking spot some guy had just picked up his dog from the groomers next door. He puts the dog in the dog in his truck and hops in. After a few seconds, he hops out and ran back into the groomers. He was gone maybe 1-2 minutes. In this time a woman walking into the pharmacy sees the dog in the car and looses her mind. On the phone and screaming. She see's me watching her and decides the drag me into it. The owner comes out and she's one step away from assulting this guy. Poor bastard is shocked, just taking her abuse...

Turns out he had paid for his dog's hair cut and left his wallet on the register. After the screaming match had drawn a nice sized crowd a rent-a-cop showed up to assess the situation. By the time he showed up the dog was sitting on the curb and a few of the girls were giving it water. The GF finally finishes up getting her meds and comes out looking at me. At this point I'm laughing. I get out of the car and explain to her what is going on, and how long the dog was actually in the vehicle. She is shocked and the cop is looking at me with a blank stare. "You people are all jack asses, complaining about a dog left in a car for less than 2 minutes! Hell, she (points at GF) left me in the car for almost 20 minutes!"

Yes, I agree that we shouldn't leave our pet in any kind of vehicle. I just got a bulldog a few months ago, and whenever we turn off all the lights at home, he started barking. Then, I found this article ( https://ourfitpets.com/behavior/shou...g-in-the-dark/ ) that says maybe my dog is afraid of the dark. Since then, we are using lightbulb sensors. All in all, pets are more sensitive and innocent, and they need more care as compared to humans.

I have had a spider locked in my car for over a year now. He is the survivor of thousands that were born there and is doing just fine. Not sure what he eats but he pops up from under my windshield trim every now and then just to say hi. His name is Harry.

Seven "me too" posts in half an hour early this morning, all on old or obscure threads. How long before the spam post?

I think your internet is slow that's why you are raising the question on my seven posts. Stop calling me spam. Do you guys welcome the new members by calling them spam?

Its not fair.

In fairness to Extra we see a pile of spam on here sometimes and your posts followed all of the standard "spam" formats.
I however ruled out spam since your statements actually made sense in the context of the threads which the bots just don't do well. Yet..

Posting comments in two threads by that other new guy who came in here just to get people to click into his instagram was the red flag for me.
Some new girl member did the same thing by coming in here with the intention of getting people to click into her instagram.

Thank you. Do people also comment with bots (software)? I don't have much knowledge about this. But thanks again for removing the tag of spam from my name. I want to be there for a long time. Hopefully, you guys will never mind

It follows the pattern almost perfectly. It's not a bot. It's a human spammer. The human comes in, runs up a post count with "me too" posts on ancient threads and threads tucked away in sub-forums where they think admins won't notice them. Then "she" will come back and link to some garbage scam page.

She really gave herself away in this thread by posting stock photos from car sites on a thread asking members to post pics of their own tS BRZs. Not a single one of her posts passes the smell test.

Now she'll either pretend to be all offended and leave, or she'll go ahead and post spam while she still can. Or maybe she'll do both, pretending to leave for the time being and coming back with spam later if the admins don't boot her spammer ass right out of here.
