Rim lock

I think it's also called lug nut lock maybe? The lock on your rims to keep people from stealing your rims. after 10k miles I just realized the dealer never gave me the key to unlock it. Whoops. How do I fix this? I'm seeing the dealer tomorrow and I want to make sure I fully cya. Thanks

check your glove box and the trunk for the key, if you are sure you dont have it, ask the dealer to replace the lug nut lock with a new set and hopefully they will do it for free. the technicians deal with the same set of keys(although many ) they often have a spare assortment in case of a customer that comes in for service with a missing key.

Good luck my friend.

All the ones I have seen have just been an extension that will go over the end of the tire iron, generally about an inch long or so.

It is, usually they come with new cars. if one of your 5 lug nuts if different from all the others then you have a lock lug .

call toyota and give them your vin they can make you another they have all of this in the system... my buddy has had to order 3 keys because he lost them... also check all of your paper work there should be some literature about the wheel locks with a serial on it this will make the process much easier.

A can of liquid nitrogen and a hammer = universal key.
