Possibly, higher sidewall tires seem more compliant to me though. I have my Juke on summer tires right now too and it's slipping in the cold. They're low profile. Maybe I'm just nitpicking... |

I finally did a post winter interior detail.
I hit the clutch pedal assembly hinge points with some silicone grease after being annoyed by a squeaky noise. It may be a placebo effect but the pedal travel is definitely smoother and the squeak is gone. More notably the car now shifts smoother and I noticed less vibration in the driveline and shifter. I must be going crazy. |

OK, I suggest you post up some pictures in the DIY section of where you applied the grease. Lord knows we have a ton of people with clutch/TOB/transmission problems that could benefit from your discovery. Good observation - good science! ![]() humfrz |

I took it in (actually I’m waiting while they do the work) for it’s 15,000km service, so now it’s old.
Yesterday I gave it a wash and was amazed at the number of stone chips I’ve accumulated in the four odd months I’ve had it. My daily commute is via some massive roadworks north of Perth, passing road trains and semis, so I guess that’s par for the course. I’m toying with buying a spare bonnet and bumper, so I can then swap it out every year or so and repaint. |

Finalized a Greddy Oil pan install
Perrin oil cooler and Perrin Intake (since the cooler lines get in the way of any intake) bought a new oil pan from subaru, and used honda bond on it, thinking back I should have bought a Killer B pickup while I was down there. talk about nerve wracking. Drove it to work and its doing just fine. Ill check the level when i get home tomorrow morning |
