most of those guys are probably breaking transmissions because they are way beyond what the trans can hold. i ran an fx725 twin for almost a year in my car. my only trans failures were at the track or doing highway pulls on drag radials. its a tough clutch to get used to sometimes, but after a certain level you dont have much of a choice

Both me and Ken Gushi's personal FR-S are having clutch fork related problems, due to the Twin Plates that we run. I would 100% agree that a twin plate is over kill on a FR-S transmission, but never having to worry about upgrading to a newer clutch ever I think is well worth it. This clutch grabs so quick and feels so good shifting, but takes some getting use to in the beginning. I plan on beefing up my motor and transmission gears in the coming years so it's cool not having to worry about upgrading the clutch for each stage progression.

Were u using the HD or the XT pressure plate at that time of slipping? Also do u know what torque numbers u were running? Somewhere around 250wtq?
