Interesting, the black OEM Sachs are made in Korea, are those common with PP dampers or am I wrong?
BRZ STI/tS uses different shocks from the above: https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m332976812 |

Old vs. new exhaust manifold:
![]() ![]() The late type is known to reduce the exhaust loss by increasing the pipe diameter and shortening and equalizing the branch length and changing the shape of the collecting part in order to enhance the exhaust pulsation effect. A very good choice if you don't want to go aftermarket (catless or catted) and you want to use a factory heat-shield. |

Updated first page with pictures of the STi fender garnishes and the STi performance muffler. Very impressed with the performance muffler. Before the change, there was in low rev range a transmission resonance sound (lightweight flywheel & metallic clutch disc) and no exhaust sound at all which was odd. Now both sounds complement each other in perfect harmony. In this rev range the muffler is quite loud and with a nice bass level! I also like that in higher rev ranges it is not that loud which is what I prefer for longer trips. Looks is also very special and together with the garnishes makes the overall appearance a level higher.
