I'm 6'-4" and around 200 lbs with pretty long legs and arms.

I have the seat adjusted as low as possible, and 2 clicks away from fully slid back. The seat back is 1-2 clicks leaned back away from vertical. There is about 1" of headroom above my hair.

With the stock wheel I was always knocking my knees on it getting in and out. Switched to a flat-bottom REAL leather wheel to solve that.

My only wish would be for the steering wheel to telescope a couple more inches towards me. My arms are bent sufficiently with my current driving position but I feel it would give more options to adjust the seat if the wheel could move a bit more.

The first time i sat in the 86 i had the same feeling. The steering needs to come forward about an inch or two, then the seating position will be perfect for me. I am about 6 feet tall.
Otherwise the seating position is very good.

I've lived in some places where the street lights are hung over the closer side of the intersection which makes it tough to see in most any car. But here in Houston they're across the street.

Being first car in line the roofline cuts off my view, have to lean forward and look up to see the light. Looking out the driver's side window, my eye-level is about 1" below where the glass meets the top. My head barely has a finger's width of clearance from the roof. This is with aftermarket Recaro Sportster CS and custom mounts I fabbed myself for the Recaro slider. Was a little bit worse with the stock seats.

There are lowering seat mounts available to replace the stock mounts.

Did you upgrade to the padded knee rests? They were JDM-only in the early years and were added to the US cars later. I installed a set of JDM knee rests in mine, and while it didn't eliminate the discomfort of my knee against that panel, it sure did help.

The FRS got them in 2014.

My 2014 BRZ Limited didn't have them. Are you sure that wasn't just a Canada thing? I don't think they were standard equipment in the US until 2017.

Yep I am sure. It was the big 2014 upgrade for the FRS. The BRZs lagged behind on that one.

I javent seen any for the stock seats. All I've seen like the buddyclub are for side-bolt setups. Unless yo drop the sliders.
