I'm 6'-4" and around 200 lbs with pretty long legs and arms.
I have the seat adjusted as low as possible, and 2 clicks away from fully slid back. The seat back is 1-2 clicks leaned back away from vertical. There is about 1" of headroom above my hair. With the stock wheel I was always knocking my knees on it getting in and out. Switched to a flat-bottom REAL leather wheel to solve that. My only wish would be for the steering wheel to telescope a couple more inches towards me. My arms are bent sufficiently with my current driving position but I feel it would give more options to adjust the seat if the wheel could move a bit more. |

The first time i sat in the 86 i had the same feeling. The steering needs to come forward about an inch or two, then the seating position will be perfect for me. I am about 6 feet tall.
Otherwise the seating position is very good. |

Did you upgrade to the padded knee rests? They were JDM-only in the early years and were added to the US cars later. I installed a set of JDM knee rests in mine, and while it didn't eliminate the discomfort of my knee against that panel, it sure did help. |

Yep I am sure. It was the big 2014 upgrade for the FRS. The BRZs lagged behind on that one.

I javent seen any for the stock seats. All I've seen like the buddyclub are for side-bolt setups. Unless yo drop the sliders.
