Got the header and I can post some pics. I sold off the exhaust off my car (waiting on TRD Japan parts to come in) so no on vehicle impression yet.

Some details:

1) Welds look fine. Similar to OFH. Some small parts look like pin holes but confirmed no burn through with a light.
2) Mating surface to block is not machined which is...concerning. The gaskets they include are the "thick" style ones which should hold but I dont think you could get away with stock style gaskest which are much thinner. I will still run some copper gasket maker on them.
3) Flex section is the accordion style + the braided steel on top of it. Doest look like a source of leaks.
4) O2 bungs are good. I've had issues with the OFH ones before but these ones the sensors thread in fine.
5) Collector looks fine from what I can see.

I can post some pics if people are curious but nothing too surprising. I may install it this weekend if I have time.

I never promised. So far, car heats up a lot, but it can handle it. Nothing bad has happened yet, but i see coilpacks beeing likely to go.

I think the ones commenting about leaking flex joints don't have this header and don't really know the construction of a flex joint. My PLM header does not leak from the flex joints or anywhere for that matter. For what it's worth I used Grimmspeed gaskets instead of the cheap ones supplied with the header.

Do you have the UEL or long tube? My UEL flex pipes are just braided, no piping underneath, so everything leaks out of it. I owned these headers for a couple months now and i know the construction of my header. This is the exact one i have:

It leaks, you can smell it and feel the heat and air escaping through the two flex pipes.

Has anyone used a header wrap to keep out the heat. Might help with some of the air escaping

I almost did. I got some cheapo muffler repair tape(fiberglass wrap and epoxy), but the epoxy started to melt instead of curing. Will be trying a more legit exhaust wrap soon, or maybe even cutting the flex and welding in pipes.

Header wrap isn't airtight. It's to keep heat in, for engine(/oil in pan) & intake to lessen heatsoak from glowing red hot headers

Yeah, but it should help keep the exhaust gasses flowing in the right direction and keep less heat in the engine bay. My fiberglass thing helped with sound, heat, and leaks, but not 100%, then the epoxy hardener sheet started to melt and burn.

Any long term reviews on this? Curious to see how the quality holds up against well known brands like JDL, Tomei, etc etc.

I'd love to see a picture of the collector. And do you know the outer diameter of the pipes?
Thank you!

Edit:
I got a picture of the collector from a supplier. Looks alright to me.
