What was the thread title?
@stevesnj I remember when you started your build thread before you had your car. Hope you get back on your feet financially soon. |

The RIVIAN is a future choice because of it's off road capability, range, storage, and no ICE engine. Being an off roader and Toyota Land Cruiser owner you won't understand the appeal if you don't understand off roading/overlanding. RIVIAN is working with 3rd party companies for suspension and armour for their line. It's not a definite but just a choice.

I want a Bollinger. Portal axles FTMFW. Also 5201lbs of payload. You could carry 300 gallons of water, a rooftop tent, food for a month, 1kWh of solar panels (3 sunpower x series), and the whole family of 4. Drive 200 miles into the middle of nowhere. Hang out while you charge the 120kWh battery at 4+kWh/day. Then drive back.

Yep, same here on both counts. I knew the name but hadn't seen one. Interesting but ugly is about how I would describe it.
