Just to clarify, the LC500 is not in the same class as the AMG GT.

I'm glad they aren't in the same class. AMG GT is pretty ugly inside and out like it was designed out of playdoh lmao!

I'm a fan, inside and out, but respect that.

FWIW the LC500 competes with the Mercedes SL, which is a vehicle I think we can all agree is pretty damn ugly (PDU).

Well Ebisu Circuit isn't a great spot to race against comact car like CTR. Prob best track to race CTR is prob Suzuka, Fuji or Autopolis.

Oh, I know it is. But they oddly enough conquest from AMG GT buyers. Such is the sex appeal of the LC500. The LC500 sits in the same weird place as the Escalade. It gets cross shopped by stuff that costs a lot more (e.g. Escalade vs G wagons).

I once saw an LC500 parked beside a Corvette. The Lexus does seemed like an Escalade.

They'll still make them, the demand is pretty high for them in my area.

I wouldn't want one if they move the production line to Alliston. I've had an EJ6 made there the fit and finish was pretty bad.

If I'm paying $50k it better be Made in Japan.

^Not sure if it's relevant to exactly what you are saying, but the current CTR is built in England. Though it's engine is built in the USA.

Are there any CTR owners on this forum?... I'm so curious to know the comparison of driving between the CTR and the twins, besides the obvious RWD-FWD.
