If you drive it for any length of time, and it really is a bearing, the fresh oil will quickly develop a magical looking sheen of fine soft metal particles.

That's the rpm range that freaked me out with my first OFT tune (and Nameless header, which is thin walled). Ran 15k miles no issues, till someone ran it into a pole for me. I did have to clean up the tune in that range too, though. Not saying it's not something worse, but it might be something more benign.

So luckily I was about 10k miles until warranty was up. Spun bearing. Getting fixed right now. Whole new short block being thrown in |
