You just have to use it regularly and hard. Really wring it out once, maybe twice a day. Then it'll last forever.

So yesterday I have to get something out of the truck and when I unlock the door with the fob, the wiper wipes once. The wipers and the truck are off. How are the remote lock and wiper connected? WTF?

Always something.
That is probably because it is like the second time the wipers have ever been turned on.

No leaks, come spring pulling the house's siding and adding some heat wire to the pipes is in order in a few places it seems, throw a hidden switch in the pantry. Pipe warmers.

Or just let the water trickle through those outside pipes during the cold snaps.

Leaving under sink doors open also helps.

Ok, solved my parking permit problem at work. Let's just say after 26 years here I have keys and badge access to just about everything. And let's just say I was walking in the storage area and a couple permits just fell into my pocket by accident. I had no idea.

That's my story.
