Not new. I went uel catless and had it ecutek tunned at the same time about a month ago. Didn’t notice popping noises, and it hasn’t happened since. It’s going back to the tunner to be looked at. Thanks for the suggestions.

I am having the same issue with my car. Its not as bad as in the video posted above but is very similar. Has anyone had this issue and properly resolved it?

This tread found the issue to be a bad direct injector. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=132025

I'm going to be pulling my direct injectors this week and am going to get them flow tested to find the bad ones. I will give an update when I get the car back together.

I’d be interested to know how you get on. Does your do it on every journey?

It happens most of the time when I'm between 2500 and 3000rpms. I have new direct injectors on order. hopefully ill be up and running next week.

You would think if it was a sensor (map, tps, maf) it would throw some type of code and the Check engine light would come on.

That would leave...
Dirty fuel injectors
Weak fuel pump/relay/filter
Vacuum leak
Bad gas
Bad spark plug
Bad spark plug wires/coils
