You guys are crazy.
Pretty funny when they just raise the floor pan instead of making an actual low seating car like back in the day.

The Honda City aka Civic here is ok in the looks department and good in value and reliability. You really can't go wrong. The Honda Accord Sport or higher trim with the 2.0T is a pretty sweet looking car, even though midsize sedans are not on my shopping list ever. I know it is subjective, but the lines are reminiscent of the Mercedes. The engine is the same as the Type R motor with a smaller turbo and balancing shafts, among a few other things.

You gotta admit Honda cars these days are ugly af.
Im pretty sure the Honda City is an ASEAN region model that is more or less a sedan version of the Honda Fit. I think a Civic would be a size up from it.

After experiencing some of the latest Civics, I would hesitate to give the Civic an across-the-board green light.

My buddy with a hatchback Sport model (with the 1.5T engine) is now facing the recall due to oil dilution (affecting all 1.5T Earth Dreams models, including the CRV).

My father in law had a bad battery in his brand new Civic, which meant the electric parking brake stayed locked (no backup way to release it), which meant A) no possibility of bump-starting it, B) no way to roll the car out of the single driveway so another vehicle can jumpstart it, and C) no way to roll it out of the way so the other, functioning car in the garage can get out.

Incidentally, the "other car" in my in-laws' fleet is a 2008 Civic. It has been reliable, but the automatic tranny is awful (4 speed IIRC, with lousy shift logic). Steering feel is pretty good though, and braking feel is generally better than any non-enthusiast Toyota/Lexus models.

My 2008 Honda Fit has been fantastic fun - great manual gearbox, practicality, and "tossability". A perfect car for dense (both figuratively and literally) Toronto traffic. Gets ~30MPG even in 80/20 city/hwy driving, and with me enjoying most of the revband.

Yea I didn't know they have since moved the city name onto a sedan. It was always a hatchback when I was really young they even made a game out of it.
