Also have a small cardboard box I toss crap in (should just buy a legit trunk organizer but the box was free and fit perfectly ). Just stuck velcro on the corners. That thing hasn't budged at all either.

That's how the cheap 3 pocket trunk organizer I got free from my insurance agent is. It only has a couple strips of Velcro on it and it is rock solid stuck to the trunk floor. I can put a couple gallons of milk in it and it doesn't move at all. |

The weathertech trunk liners have slots you can buy attachments for to secure boxes etc in the trunk.

Weather tech cargo liners have slots that allow you to secure stuff.
I'm on the fence since these are way more practical than the 86 engraved factory one.

Those look really nice. I didn't know they existed for the rubber liner. Santa brought me a WeatherTech cargo liner for Christmas, so I'm definitely going to get a set of those.

I just plonk stuff in or around the raised spare tyre donut thingy in my boot liner, and things don’t move.
That said, my boot liner doesn’t fit so well on my spare. I suspect it was designed for a skinnier tyre than the 86 is currently running. I’m toying with adding a 20mm thick EVA foam layer between the boot liner and the tools, though the boot is already pretty tiny. |
