won COMSCC class and overall TT championships :D

Had a great time time-trialing the BRZ with COMSCC (T40 class) this year
https://www.comscc.org/events/result...?id=2018-final
I took delivery of the car in January, and with few very mods it has proved speedier than I expected
Swift BRZ Sport lowering springs, Raceseng camber plates, WinMax W5 and Project Mu Club Racer brake pads, 17x9 wheels, RE71R and NT01 tires.
The car kicked ass from the word go, won the first TT I entered it in by one tenth vs. another BRZ at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Miatae were left in the dust :P Lost the next two events to same BRZ at Palmer and Mont Tremblant, but came back to win the last four at Thompson, Palmer, Watkins Glen, and New Hampshire. BRZ 1-2 at every event (average 10 competitors in T40 per event).

Big thanks to Counterspace Garage, CSG Mike, CSG David, and also FT86Speedfactory!

Nice, congratz! I do TT with Track and Time (I think COMSCC used to run with us in the past). This year I couldnt defend my championship from last year, I lost to ... another FRS!

How do you like tremblant? Im going to check the rules, Im curious what class we would fall into and we would compare overall.

Edit: Holy molly you guys tax the aero components heavily. I went up two classes because of it! Anyways, I would be within 0.5s of the class record for tremblant in T60, not bad I guess.

I love Tremblant, great track and a great setting...
They are probably going to saddle FT86s with more points (probably 2) for next year. There have been rumblings from the Miata contingency...

Damn those pesky miatas, they already have a 600lbs advantage, what else do they want?

Good job Dan!! Thats a very impressive time at WGI (2:18s) with minimal mods. I started off with Com in the 90s and still keep in touch with Bruce Allen and Marc Epstein. Good bunch of very fast guys. Share pics of the car?

Oh Gosh! 2002? I used to hangout with John Levy, Jack Lambert (as I had an RX7) and then with Bob Cercione (bought Marc's old E36 M3 to STGT class).
