Sorry if this is a Noobie question, but would the different wheel/tire combo throw off the dyno numbers if they are lighter than the stock wheels?

Yes, however the wheels that they are using are heavier, so it would probably make slightly more with the stock wheels.

Not sure if you are familiar with the po up this way but a big pod in the middle of the engine bay will unfortuantly have you fined/defected and sent to EPA for clearance if you are unlucky. even the completely hidden/sealed in-gaurd WRX systems have been defected.

Glad to see cops are tackling the big issues up there! I mean I know that a pod filter is much more of an issue than the fact half the people on the road can't drive for sh*t and there are so many really unroadworthy cars out there.

I'm in Victoria and I don't think it's as bad here... although at least you get warning signs about speed cameras

But think of the poor squirrels! Won't someone save the squirrels? Those filters will be the end of all small rodent-like creatures... er something.

I love trying different kinds of beer and yet somehow I've managed to avoid ever trying Yuengling... I need to rectify that soon.

Don is there a particular reason you decided to go with a blow through maf setup? Just curious...

after years of being in the maf na-t world, it has plenty of pros, ill list a quick few

1. the toyota maf has a IAT sensor so having it in the charge pipe gives the ecu the best reading

2. no false readings because of blow off valves, so no rich conditions between shifts and let off

3. linear maf reading= linear power no bogging with shifts or sudden accelerations

only con.

if your turbo like to leak some the maf get dirty faster and needs cleaning/ replacing ( good thing is this maf is used on all new toyota, lexus about 2005 and up, so its cheap and easily sourced)

Bingo. Also a can of MAF cleaner is about 8 bucks,

My number one reason is no cutting. No hacking the harness. Period.
