2. Hence why I put "edition" at the end. It comes as a package.

2. When did Scion have/had an "edition"? Their "edition" is called "Options" (correct me if I'm wrong Dragon) Edit: Never mind, they did have Limited Edition called RS (Release Series) in tC... but nothing special other than the color |

Good guess. I've always assumed (though the other answers lead to me to believe I'm wrong) that the MR2 stood for Mid-engine, rear-drive 2-seater. That reasons that the 86 could be a Front-engine, Rear-drive, 4-seater (or Flat-4...I do like that). FR4. Its feisty.

I'm doing it anyway. I debadge all the cars I own. 90% of people don't know the difference between an Cobalt/G5 if they have the same options. I think the car would look great with no wing, badging, coilovers, and two-tone akin to the AE.

I would like to see this car labeled as "Celica." The original Celicas were RWD, 4 cyl. and of similar dimensions. It seems like the best fit to me.

yeah, either Mid engine Rear drive 2 seater, Midship Runabout 2 seater, Mid engine Rear drive 2 wheel drive, etc... there's a huge debate about it, but it seems to me the correct interpretation is Midship Runabout 2 seater, so i guess your "4" is valid. although maybe more valid will be "2 .5 .5"
haha. if you add it all together, 3!!! so how about FR3??? oh how i amuse myself.

Deff Celica, I used to think they were great, they went head to head with Hondas Prelude and since Honda is a complete fail these last 10 years, Ill still with Celica FTW!

I think lexus plans on making a new SC eventually, that or introducing a IS coupe variant.
I'm pretty sure this will be either 86 or FT-86 considering it's getting trademarked. |
