Hell, my brand new tS sat in the dealer's show room for 6 months and all they did was dust it, IN CIRCLES! It has more scratches and swirls than if it'd been driven for those 6 months.


As for your scratches try Nu Finish Scratch Doctor or similar product first. We used it on some nasty marks on the wife's car with surprisingly good results.
If that doesn't give the results you want than look for an auto body or detailing shop that specializes in chip and scratch touch ups. The wife's dealership uses a guy that is fantastic at filling, covering, blending as well as paintless dent repairs.

Alright so today I installed the Racecomp Engineering SuperStreet-1 coilovers. The installation was a breeze, and initial impressions are amazing. Not that these are marketed towards that stance life, but as I was adjusting the ride height, I was surprised by how low these can go. I eventually settled on 1 1/2 finger gap all around and set the dampeners to 1 click away from full soft.

I watched all your videos on youtube and they are all awesome. In fact, after watching your videos I bought BRZ and I was leaning more towards Civic SI. My office folks told me NOT to get a standard/manual car.

I would NEVER ask office folks for advice on cars to buy. I work for a business with hundreds of employees and I can count on one hand how many of them are true driving enthusiasts. Most of the SUV loving, texting while driving public just gives me a puzzled look if I tell them that I actually prefer a manual transmission because it is more fun and engaging.

I would much rather get it fixed than not. I'm OCD, so I did plenty of research before choosing a body shop. It is literally impossible to tell that anything was done... even on the brightest, and sunniest of days.

My wife and I would like a softer more supple ride, something like a VW Golf GTI and not with lowering. We imagine around 15% softer. Will your coilovers do that? For instance how would you rate the ride with your setting compared to the o.e.
We tried deflating the o.e. Michelin tyres from 35 to 32 but that did not feel softer at all for some reason.

Ha. This was in, like, January. So I had to use the wipey thing at the next gas station to clean off the salt and see how bad it actually was.

Initial impressions are IMPRESSIVE. The car handles low speed and mid speed bumps so well now. The car feels softer than the OEM sachs dampeners. At this setting, the ride quality is not jarring at all; the vehicle is composed and sporty. The best comparison I can think of is a GOLF GTI (Sporty handling, with European quality ride comfort). The car soaks up the bumps while maintain a quality ride. I recommend this if you're in the market.
