* our county sheriffs aren't the most aware in the state but they ain't stupid

* the PNW's climate ain't the best for growing some crops

* the locals would sneak in and harvest the crop before it's prime if it was out in the open

* the growing conditions can be controlled more favorably indoors

* a couple of mean guard dogs can deter most folks from entering a barn

How would you need to remediate pot in a barn?
It smelled too dank? The floor was covered in icky-wax?
Could have sold it as a high density condo these days.

Liability. Scientifically it doesn't make much sense, however, a buyers attorney could make a big deal out of it. You know, after working in that barn, my client suffered from (all kinds of stuff - ).
