Nah, the barn was stripped of all it's potted plants. I had the house boarded up but it kept on getting broken into by ex customers looking for meth. Finally, I just left the front door open -

The two brothers were in jail, but one time when I was checking the property, these two tweakers pulled up demanding their drugs or their money back. I told them I was a agent for a federal agency (FHLMC) and me and my ol .45 convinced them that it was in their best interest to move on and not come back.

It's was a damn shame, the brothers grandparents had homesteaded that property, their parents had a successful dairy farm and when they passed on they willed the farm to their two sons. Well, they farmed it alright -

Reminds me of the time when I was commissioned to foreclose on a property here in Washington. After I called the Sherriff to evict the two brothers (they didn't take "offer" and got all testy with me), I brought in a sub contractor to remediate the house and large barn (on 50 acres).

They had turned the house into a meth lab and the barn into a grow operation. When I went to have the power shut off to the property, the utility company ask me which of the 4 services I wanted shut off (1 to the house and 3 to the barn). They had 3 services running to the barn to power the grow lights.

The house was salvaged by gutting it but no way they could remediate the barn - so, after some attempts, we decided to have it burnt to the ground.

My Grandparents owned a 200 acre farm where they raised livestock and grew tobacco. The DEA was always overflying their property looking for pot.
