The good news is they finally replaced their old-ass stove/oven while I was there. All rusty/moldy/dirty looking.

I mean, yeah, that's a given, lol. I've gotten bone cold biscuits and gravy there before like it was no big deal .

I went for the atmosphere and a quiet place to eat. The weather was perfect to sit out on the patio in the shade and enjoy some quiet time.

How is sitting in the shade and enjoying it suddenly "beneath us", simply because I said their food sucks? Not seeing the correlation there.

"I went for the atmosphere" - Yeah, that's what they have there. And they know it, so you basically pay premium prices for their shitty food, just to enjoy the location and whatnot. It's a dishonest business strategy that maximizes their profit. They don't project positive energy or care about the community that supports them. If they did, they wouldn't serve shit food.

Let's not forget the grumpy employee that one morning before they were even fucking open for business, who not so jokingly told us that we were all going to have to move our cars because we were "blocking" something or other. Basically talking shit and trying his best to exert his "authority" over us by threatening our gathering. Great way to treat your customers.

Now that you mention it, I have gotten the runs from their gross ass breakfast. Maybe the cause was the nasty ass stove that Josh spotted.

Oh and I made the mistake of ordering and consuming one of their nasty ass burgers before as well which also fucked my stomach and made me crave water because of how salty it was. Bullshit preformed frozen patties that they probably buy from Costco or some wholesaler and then try to pass off as gourmet fresh Northern California cuisine.

Oh, don't blame the nasty old stove. What's more than likely that gave you the runs was the water. The reason that the county health department shut them down for a few months was that their "septic" system was contaminating the their water reservoir - so it was suspected -

However, the workaround is to just get your eggs well done, bacon extra crisp and toast burnt. Oh yes, just drink soda out of a can or bottled water (using a straw).

Iffen ya don't get the straw connection, ya ain't never been down into Mexico, back in the day.
