Currently sitting at Alice’s for a late lunch. Took your guys advice and I’ve been off last Friday for a bday day off, then yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

I had a really bad day. My employer is standardizing all the IS positions. Long study. They eliminated my position and put me in a code that makes 15% less. I don't get a pay cut, but I also don't get any pay raise until my code catches up.

So glad I'm retiring in june. I ducking hate going to work everyday. Don't get a government job.

Sorry to hear that, but if you are retiring anyway, does it really matter? Looks like you lucked out, though you probably would have gotten a better deal getting layed off in the private sector.

And you wonder why certain departments are filled with idiots.
