Anyone running a staggered setup here:
17x8 +45 front
17x9 +45 rear

What tires size are you running and with this setup, do I need any spacers? Will there be an issue with this setup on TRD springs? Just lowered my FRS with TRD springs and plan to put this setup. This is a daily driver setup. TIA

Front will clear. Rear might need a spacer, I'm not 100% sure.

The only BBK that I've seen confirmed to fit with the 17x9 +35's is the AP Sprint kit.

Old post, but don't forget that the spokes are quite different on the 8" vs 9" RPF1's.. looks silly to have both IMO.

I agree. Plus, 17x9 +35 with 245/40 will fit with TRD springs and camber bolts. Though you can't max the camber bolts out...

3mm spacers front and rear
Swift Spec-R wit oem 2017 struts
Spc camber bolts up front on the top to easily adjust max camber without hitting spring seat
Velox Camber plate to finalize camber adjustments

Front camber: -3
Front toe: 0.10 toe out
Rear camber: -2.5
Rear toe: 0.10 toe in

Does not poke out' fits perfect!

I went with 45 profile instead of 40 because I enjoy the extra "cushion" around town. Cheapest tires ever since this was experimental for me...Injens A1, they were like 60bucks each from WallyWorld! I loose a little bit of cornering ability from the extra sidewall but the extra grip from the tire contact patch helps offset that. If I was going to race on a track I definitely would go a lower profile. It does give it a nice meaty stance though...compared to stock. Rims are a +45 Offset (no spacers used in photos/ Stock ride height)

17x9 +45 sounds great for the front, Ive seen +35 and its borderline too much poke for me.


I might do 17x9 +45 front
17x9 +35 rear with 245/40/17 all around
It would be a square tire setup but I guess you could call it stagger offset

17x9 +45 will fit great with coils, but so will 17x9 +35. If you have any camber at all, it will tuck the top of the tire nicely with +35. I have 18x9 +30 front and only -1.4 camber.


If you get +45 all around and 10mm spacers for the rear, you could rotate your tires. If you get staggered offset, you can't.

Good info I have coilovers im at -1.5 front , -2 rear


If I stay 17x9 +35 then I would go with Wedsports. Still deciding but some pics still like borderline too much poke which scares me


Point of doing +45 upfront, +35 rear would be so I don't have to add spacer in rear. Not worried about rotating too much I have light 17x8's and stock tires with winter tires So im always rotating wheel setups. Just looking for a 17x9 set I will call my "grip setup"
